Playing with our Niece

Last week, Scott and I had to unexpectedly fly to Texas for a funeral. It was a very sad time, and hard on the whole family. However, the trip allowed for a visit with our niece, Parker, and for that we are GRATEFUL!

Parker is a little over 2 1/2 years old. At Christmas, she was still cautious about people she didn't know (or in our case, see very often), but now, she had a blast and so did we.

She is sweet and cute and vivacious. She calls Scott, "Un-Ca-Cot," and me "Aunt M." Aunt Miriam and Aunt Mim are still hard to say. Candi, her grandma, is fondly called, "This," or "That," though Candi would rather be called Grannie.

Here are some photos of Scott and I playing in Parker's room, on her "New Big Girl Bed."

Here the bunny is giving Parker kisses.

In this photo, Parker is using her fairy princess wand to aid her in telling Sam, the boistorous, Chocolate lab, to sit.
It was a great visit, and we enjoyed sharing a wonderful meal with Chad, Sara, Candi, Greg and Parker.
